New Video Engine In Layman's Terms

Hello!

With the new video engine, will we be ably to:-

  1. render video without the roundabout “replace audio” of previous versions?
  2. render a section of the video if, for example, we want to get confirmation on a particular scene?

Also, from my layman’s understanding, the list of supported formats refers to what we can import, so, what format(s) will be be able to render/export to?

O.K. I understand that. Could you say what formats we can render in, at the moment, whether AVI, or other format?
