Newbie Unmix Song Question

I am very new to SpectraLayers Pro having picked up the free trial to decide if I want to do the crossgrade from RX. Right now, I am primarily interested in the unmix song feature. I am working with WAV files that are the house mix from some long ago concerts where the only instruments are my vocal, my guitar, and my friend’s fiddle. In my first attempts, I selected only Vocal and Guitar (and, of course, Other) and the separation of the Vocals is excellent, the Guitar is good, but the Fiddle slops back into the Guitar stem as well as being in the Other stem.

Is there a better set of options I could be selecting for this? Are there ways to tune the separation algorithm to better isolate the fiddle from the guitar?

As I said, I’m very new to this. But I like what SpectraLayers is doing a lot better than what I’ve gotten from RX.

Thanks!

string separation…electronic representations of sounds, etc

unmix song/ instrument separation is in it’s infancy…well, just starting walk for automated separation. You are facing a lot of manual work to RE-BALANCE violin and guitar in your case.

The new Spectral layers takes spectral editing to new hights.
You should use the transfer function to manually separate the Fiddle from the Guitar,
