Hi, very new to VST Live Pro 2.
Setting up our stage system to play Video, Backing, Audio Cues, and Click using Laptop and A&H CQ20B.
With Cubase I have managed to get the audio from different tracks to go where I want them in the CQ mixer, but with VST Live, even though I have set the connections correctly, the only Audio Outputs it lets me send a track to are ‘Stereo Out’ and ‘Song Group’.
How can I send a Click track to a different channel please?
Hi! Please note, you need to set this in two places (later on you will understand it’s benefits).
-
Under “connections”, you need to create different “proxy” outputs (output names e.g.: St-OUT1, St-OUT2, Click-OUT, Whatever)) and “link them” to your actually physical outputs.
-
Then back to “Mixer View”, you need to assign as much output type channels, as u need
-
Third: need to “route” your e.g. click track to the desired “Click-OUT”…
Thanks for the quick reply.
It’s the last 2 items I’m having trouble with. The manual doesn’t explain how to do this in a way I can understand.
Click new “OUT” in Mixer view then route as we used to do in any DAWs
