NI plugins very small resolution window not resizable

only Native Instruments plugins, and all of Native Instruments plugins.
Very small window, which I cannot resize, and resolution is impossibly small.
When I open them Stand Alone they behave just fine.

New Computer, Asus ZenBook.
NVidia RTX 3060.
Cubase 13.0.21

Thanks for trying to help !

This problem comes from NI. There has never been an update allowing you to change the display resolution of plugins like the Solid Mix series and many others . And I don’t think it will ever happen…

On the other hand, if you have Guitar Rig (Player will work) as Insert for an audio or instrument track, you can resize the resolution of the Guitar Rig window and therefore that of the effects window at will.

@AbuStevie if you click the downward arrow on the top-right of the plugin window, you’ll find an “Allow window to be resized” option: this adapts HiDPI unaware plugins to the correct scaling.
Note: this is a work-around for HiDPI unaware plugins, so they’ll look a bit blurry compared to HiDPI aware plugs.

Thanks, thats a great workaround.
It worked - for most of them.
For some - like Battery, The option in the dropdown menu doesn’t exist.
For some - like MassiveX, it resized the window, but the content got “stuck” on the lower left corner, like so -

Plugins that do not show the option are HiDPI aware and should resize properly.

Both unexpected cases should be reported to the developer.

[Edit: what screen resolution, OS scaling and Cubase custom scaling (if any) are you using? I can check the behaviour my side]

I posted the issue in their support forum, so far no helpful responses.

My screen resolution is 3840 x 2400
OS Scaling 250%
Both default settings.
And no custom Cubase scaling.

Massive X is resizable from the dropdown menu you can open from the little arrow located on the right of the “Massive X” logo.
For other instruments like Battery 4, wich is not resizable, you can use the VST 2 version and resize it from the GUI menu like Fabio-B told you before.
If you can’t see the VST 2 version of the plugin, just delete the VST3 version from the folder and reboot Cubase, so you force it to use only the VST2 version, wich is resizable from the GUI menu (on VST3 version of the plugins this feature is not visible, I don’t know why)
