I cannot make cubase see my Apollo fw card.
I’m on Mojave. Osx, uad software and of course cubase are up to date.
I cannot use the software like that.
I has access to microphone in system preferences

I would try to reinstall the driver.
Make sure Cubase has enabled Mic in the System Preferences, please.
Open macOS System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Microphone. Enable Cubase here.
Which driver? You cannot install drivers on osx, it’s all managed with the official osx updates

I’m quite sure you have to install a specific driver for Apollo. Maybe it is Class compliant for working with iPad, but if you want to get all features on Mac, download and install the driver from the manufacturer side.
