Hey Steinberg Friends,
when Grand 3 is loaded the higher tones always have ambiance/reverb and the lower tones not. I switched off the ambiance for the whole plugin, but high tones are always with ambiance. Same with the old Grand 2.
I dont have the issues with second party vst instruments.
Not sure that a real piano has dampers on the higher notes hence the ambiance/reverb for those notes will always be audible.
Perhaps someone with a real piano could confirm?
Oh good advise. Could be true
I confess I didn’t know that at all. A quick search shows tens of sites discussing and explaining that. Today I learned something important.
