I payed for an upgrade from Cubase Pro 11 to 12 during the summer sale September last year. I never got around to downloading and activating it. Fast forward to today, and I figured I’ll download 13 and activate with the usual grace period you get.
But the download access code does not exist in my account at all on the Steinberg site.
I have a receipt in my email showing it was bought and payed for. But it does not have a DAC on it either.
Anybody have any idea what I can do about this?
From what you write, it is not clear whether you activated Cubase Pro 12 as a first step. This is necessary in any case!
There is no download access code for Cubase 12 in my account at all. No download access code period. So I can’t activate 12 or 13 regardless.
The activation /download access code should be on your order confirmation from the Steinberg shop, search your emails. As you need to enter that code in to your Steinberg Account/Download manager.
The only email I have regarding this is this. No activation info. Just the PDF invoice. I would expect activation info to be available in my account on the Steinberg site.

You get another email with the order confirmation, that email you have there is the second one which is sent after the order confirmation.
Search for “steinberg@support-living-c.com”. and the subject will be ‘Order Confirmation’, not Invoice.
Well I apparently I don’t have it. It must have been deleted. So there must be another option.
Try to contact the support. They will ask for the receipt I guess.
Oh that’s a pain, you will have to contact Steinberg with your order number and they will retrieve it again for you.
I guess your mailbox deleted items have been cleared since also?

I don’t know if you’re aware but the previous shop was ran by asknet, and by going to shop.steinberg.net you would’ve been able to log in there and get your previous orders.
However, they are no longer using them, and have moved to a company called fastspring.
So, I think the only method is for you to contact them instead, sorry.
