After years of absence from DAWs etc I installed Elements 9. I realise that I have to learn the new Groove Agent since my ancient intuitive GA won’t work.
A probably simple basic question: The manual (page 9) tells me to click on an empty pattern pad. All 16 are just patterns and the buttons 1-8 above are black.
There are empty patterns on the Instrument page but that doesn’t help i guess.
Maybe I am blind, but please enlighten me!

Right click any pad and click either Reset Pad or Remove Patterns to make it empty.
…and it is possible to use the original groove Agent with Elements 9, I have it working just fine.
