Personally, I donât like full screens; I like having access to the menu bar. It takes up so little space.
The example below is from WaveLab in Windows, this is what full-screen looks like there:

The menu names are embedded in the top bar. It may be a small vertical space, but why waste it in Cubase when the only use for it is to display the project name?

We have a lot control over bars, zones and whatnot in Cubase, you can get what you like and it all makes sense.
What makes no sense, and I barely can imagine a reason for it, why iOS users get the fullscreen mode and Windows users not.
Fullscreen mode in Windows is worth the upgrade fee on its own to me. As strange as that sounds.
And btw Iâd like to have that menu bar hidden as well. All the bars I hide sums up to a good portion of the screen for the main part Iâm working on.
I have no idea whyâŚ. But i guess itâs a Windows problemâŚ.
Like we canât have the mixer view (F3) in âalways in frontâ anymore since few years now, Steinberg answered it was related to WindowsâŚâŚ
Peter Brown work to ensure that midi 2.0 could be efficiently included in Windows, lets hope that Windows provides some more resources to solve those annoying issues in soft displayâŚ..
Visual Studio has this and also Vivaldi, as options. Iâm sure other programs also have it.
