Sigh…anyone? i’ve tried re-installing HALion 7, the activation manager says i have all the necessary licenses activated. Very disappointing, can we go back to physical keys please?
Please check the system requirements
I am not a Mac user. However, this seems to be the bottleneck.
@davegrooveq sorry to hear this. Is there a particular reason, you are running this x86 emulation mode?
For troubleshooting purpose, I would try to run everything natively on Apple Silicon arm.
If that works, you do at least know in which direction to look further.
No it’s nothing to do with that as the Stand Alone also says it’s not licensed. The previous HALion 7 builds worked fine in either mode…also running in Silicon Only is not a sensible solution, i have plugins i want to use. There’s no excuse for this whatsoever, it’s either a bug in the licensing (unforgiveable) or HALion 7 itself…I’ll submit a support enquiry. I have to constantly re-install HALion 7 to get any use out of it which strongly suggests somethings not correct in the licensing code. (de and re-authorizing makes no difference) Meanwhile i’ll use Kontakt, extremely disappointing stuff, especially in a market of highly competitive options.
I’ve been using HALion since v3 and Cubase since the Atari ST. This aint right folks.
Hi,
I would have suggested to contact support too I’m afraid. This is not a licensing issue, as HALion says “Please check your installation” which is a hint for us that the integrity check in HALion failed. Otherwise it would say “Please switch to Steinberg Activation Manager”. So it makes sense that re-installing helps but I have no idea why it breaks again.
