hi I am not getting any MIDI info in cubase . I have a midi monitor open and the DATA is getting into the computer I can play standalone devices. Data is coming in from all interfaces - they show up in studio setup but no data !!!
Its been working for years ? now its not .

Attach a screenshot of the Studio > Studio Setup > MIDI Ports Setup.
Ensure, there is no Remote Device or Quick Controls, which would use the given MIDI Input port or All MIDI Inputs port.

What kind of MIDI Input do you use on the given Instrument Track? Do you use Any MIDI Channel on the Input?
How do you know, the track doesn’t receive MIDI data? Isn’t it more on the output side? Does the instrument generate a sound? Is the sound routed to a meaningful output?
I have fixed it. now - well restarted the MAC and it seems to be working now. I have nt changed anything . Its working now so thanks. might of been one those Mac updates happening in the background …
