No midi signal while using audio interface

I’m trying to get a signal from my midi keyboard but having a hard time. When I click the keys on the screen, I’m getting sound. But I’m not able to use my ARIUS piano that is plugged into my computer. I think it might be a driver issue. But I need to be able to use my focusrite interface and record piano at the same time. Also, my keyboard is USB and plugged into the computer, it’s not a midi cable that is plugged into the interface. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
