- Create instrument track and select VSTi.
- Record or paste midi part into track. Press play and you hear the midi sound as you should.
- Remove VSTi and replace with a different VSTi (any other one will do) and the new VSTi will not produce any sound.
Been dealing with this for a year now!
The only work around I’ve found is to create a brand new Instrument Track with the new VSTi and copy and paste the midi to it- THEN it will sound again.
Obviously this is a total hassle and waste of time. Anyone have an answer?
