Preferences → General → untick “Use Edge Hints”
What really slows me down as well is the various tabs that cannot be locked in place, like in the lower zone for example. I permanently grab the tab and cubase wants to reorder it right away. don’t know what the point is, as you set this up once I suppose. this needs to be lockable, otherwise the tabs remains largely useless, to me at least.
