No option to Pan a clip in WaveLab Pro 12

Hiya,
Can you please help me with panning a track.
I can’t find clear instructions in the manual, and nothing can be found on web searches. I did read in a previous thread that you hit the + icon under the volume/fades in the inspector window, but when I do, there is no pan option available. (see attached image)
I would appreciate your help
Thanks Jamie

You’re close and it is slightly hidden but what you want to do is below the Volume Fades Automation/Envelope slot, you want to click the empty slot and add a “Pan” Envelope. See the first attachment.

Then, once it’s added you can pan the entire clip or draw some specific pan automation if needed similar to how you’d adjust the volume/level envelope.

The pan option doesn’t appear when I try that. (see attached)

In your second screen shot, it says “mono” in the lower right corner. This leads me to believe you have created a mono Audio Montage which could explain why you do not see the ability to pan clips.

I don’t have much experience with a mono Audio Montage so I can only speculate but that seems likely.
