No playback when Quantum HD8 is selected as ASIO Driver (repost after deleting previous by error)

Dorico isn’t playbacking when my new Quantum HD8 sound card is selected as ASIO Driver.

Playback works correctly when ASIO Driver is set on Built-in-Audio, but it stops as soon as I select Quantum HD8 as playback device. At this point, the playhead still moves when I press play, but no sound is produced.

HALion Sonic SE is installed and loading, with YAMAHA S90ES loaded in slot 1. The instrument works properly when ASIO driver is set on Built-in Audio, but as soon as I select Quantum HD8, the instruments stops working. Then, no sound is produced when I drag my mouse along the keys, and no lights on the level meters as well.

Quantum HD 8 is correctly installed and working properly with any other application which produces sounds, except for Dorico. Speaker cables are properly connected to the correct audio ports.

Mac mini 2018 3,2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7
Mac OS Sequoia 15.2
Dorico 3.1.10.1032
Quantum HD8 Firmware v2.03

Thanks for amy suggestion.

If you got to Edit > Device Setup, what sample rate is selected there and what is shown as output ports?
Also please load a project which should make sound and then do Help > Create Diagnostic Report. The corresponding zip file then please post here. Thanks

Thank You Ulf. Sample rate is 44100, output ports are Main Left, Main Right (and speaker cables are properly connected to those two outputs). Please find the zip diagnostic file here attached.

Hi @lucaV ,

thanks for the data, but what I can see in the logs and files, it actually should work.
So I don’t really know what to say. Maybe we could have a remote screen sharing session,
but even then I have few hopes to come to a solution in your case, but it’s worth trying any way.
What do you think?

Hi @lucaV, I have one more idea. What if you go to Edit > Device Setup and in that dialog click the Device Control Panel button, another window shall open. Can you take a screenshot of that one and post here? Thanks

Hi Ulf, here is the screenshot:
