No reaction to my tickets about broken WL licenses

Hi there

Since more then 1 week i have no reaction to a tickets in the suport area, the first ticket 2 weeks ago was automatically close and the new ticket is now open without any reaction. The topic is because since WL update i cant use my licenses from USB, WL 11 pro and also my WL elements. I read a topic that there must be a vouocher when your WL is transphere from eLicenser USB stick to the new Steinberg license cloud but nothing. Cubase is working well but there is no chance to bring back WL to work. So if anyone can help with find a support are who answser and can help i would appriciate.

Hey Martin, I had this exact issue (and no one answered my ticket!). I eventually called the Steinberg support number, it’s a little tricky to find, but I got through pretty quickly and they were very helpful.

If you go to My Steinberg Account, you should see a link on the left called “Vouchers”. From there you should be able to update your license to the new system, which will allow you to upgrade to 11.2 and 12.

If there is no voucher present, call the helpline and they will generate a new voucher for you. For me, it took about half an hour from when the person generated it, and it eventually appeared in the vouchers tab. I was then able to update everything accordingly. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your tip, but it disapointing me a bit, how can such a company who plays in the DAW champions league offer such a bad customer service in the support ticket area? But i will try to call them, hopefully it will work. Honestly i have really to think about if i will spend money one more time to a company who is not able to handle their service system.

You might try installing the last version of WL 11 that worked with a USB (eLicenser) 11.1.

You can download that here:

It is likely that your USB eLicenser still has your WL 11 license on board.

If this works, at least you will be able to continue to use WL until the ticket is resolved.
