Yes, I did all of that.
I unistalled the drivers for the scarlet and I installed the latest ones.
From my onboard audio card, the audio works fine, and when I connect the scarlet they both work perfectly. The only issue here is that I cannot record in cubase.
I have applications running at the same time like discord and steam. But even when I shut them off, I still cannot record in cubase.
I also use Audacity, and there is no problem recording the guitar through the scarlet interface.
Hi,
In Audacity, do you use ASIO driver of 2i2 or other driver type, please?
Hi,
using Focusrite 2i2, what is more, I tried a demo of Ableton live, and it also works fine with no problems at all. It recognizes immediately the focusrite interface, I chose the input and output just like in Cubase, and it works perfect.
I would:
- Uninstall Cubase
- Delete any Cubase Preference files
- Re Install CUbase
This is what I would do if I had that same issue here. Im sure someone will disagree but the ONLY common rot here is CUBASE
IF you still are having trouble or if anyone else is reading this… to get the right input to work. You have to create a stereo track. But still. this will be a mono track anyway. Same identical signal on L/R channel still is a “mono” signal. When bouncing the track out. Just choose it as mono. =)
