No signal in track meters, but have sound in headphones

Can you Click Studio on the Menubar at the top and then Click Studio Setup. This will show if the interface is actually connected. Like this…

I have gone into F4 but I don’t have a control room TAB. Here is a photo of what’s come up.

i also went into the audio settings incase it was just a different name but it had no power button.

ALSO PLEASE NOTE: Also, I’m so sorry, but because I’m a new user I’ve not allowed to make anymore messages until 19hrs coz I’ve reached my limit.

Thank you for your both so much for your help and ill make contact once ive been allowed back.

It likely because you have Cubase AI so even tho it doesn’t work, they leave it in the menu just to make you want it

You are using the Steinberg Built-in ASIO Driver ?

The info for the IXO22 says to use the Yamaha-Steinberg ASIO driver.

Here is the link. It says it suppports IXO22.

I would definitely try this. The built in driver is sort of a last resort if you cannot get a specific driver for your hardware.

That’s a bug in Cubase 15.0.5. Everybody should get this displayed.
Hopefully it will be fixed with the next maintenance release.

Cheers, good to know. I thought it was pointing at preferences being messed up.

@Musomaker I know you can hear us but can’t “talk” (new user restrictions, limited number of answers within the first xy hours in case anyone is wondering)…

You stated in your very first post that you set up the correct driver
No worries, these things happen easily if you are new to Cubase. Actually, this should have been one of the first screenshots to ask for just to make sure, so that was my bad…

Good catch @microapp :+1:

Haha, could you hear loud and clear, thank you. (Was set back another 5hrs bwfore could reply.)

I’m so sorry about the misinformation provided right at the start. I didn’t realise how particular studio equipment is during set up and will lock that into memory.

Thank you @microapp @Reco29 and Johnny (new users can only mention 2 @’s) guys so much for your help! I really appreciated it, especially how much help you guys offered

Cheers guys

Any time, you’re welcome!

Haha, that must have been weird not being able to answer… These restrictions will be lifted any moment, just enter one more topic and you will be promoted to the next trust level.

I’m glad that it’s all up and running again :+1:
