Hello Everyone,
When I open Cubase , there’s no sound and meters on the tracks won’t turn ON.
I have to close Cubase, play audio from a player first then open Cubase again and the sound is fine.
Anyone had this issue before?

Do you have an activity displayed in the Audio performance panel ? If not, check this thread, as there is an issue between RME drivers and Cubase for specific setups.

Yeah just read the thread. It’s the same issue.
It’s pretty random though. My other systems the babyface runs just fine.
This one in Cubase I have to set no audio device first then back to usb firewire in project setup.
Or if I play something before opening cubase let’s say in vlc .
Seems like I’m going to endure this issue, unless I format the system.

It was also for me, until recently. The first things to try, I think, is to change the USB connector and be sure that the RME driver is up to date. Beside this, it seems that it affects essentially setups based on a Windows / AMD Ryzen configuration.
