NO sound editing in VariAudio!

version - Cubase Pro 13.0.41
Hi all,
Suddenly, after a crash, when I am editing vocals in VariAudio, there is no sound when I drag the notes up or down. Everything works when i press play, but not when I edit, which is vital. Done the usual in Studio, including turning off Control room. Nothing! All other setting are good or I wouldn’t be able to play back. Always audio issues after a crash!! Frustrating. Any suggestions?
Many thanks
Ben

Hi,

It looks like your Preview routing has changed.

If you are using Control Room, make sure there is a Monitor Bus available and a meaningful Audio Port is selected.

If you don’t use Control Room, open the Audio Connections > Outputs, right-click on the output bus and enable the"Main Mix" option.

Hi Martin. Thanks for your reply but both are correctly set, Main mix and CR audio ports. Just can’t understand why i only don’t hear when tuning in VariAudio!

Hi,

Is the Audition button enabled in the editor?

Can you hear the MediaBay Preview? Isn’t the Preview volume down in the MediaBsy?

If you mean Audition play button and volume? Yes.
Can’t find a Mediabay preview or volume button. Where are they please

Damn it. I can’t believe I missed that. I was sure I’d switched that button on. Thank you so much Martin.
Very much appreciated
Regards,
Ben
