I’m using Cubase 8 and a Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface on Windows 7 64-bit. When on a new or previous project, there is no sound coming in or going out of Cubase. The meters have no movement at all during playback. I checked the Device Settings and VST Connections, everything is configured correctly and the proper Input/Outputs are active. Cubase is seeing the interface and has the ASIO driver listed as well. I’ve rebooted Cubase and Windows, tried removing and re-adding the busses but still nothing. Oddly enough, when I remove the Output bus, the output meter jumps then goes away. I’ve played back audio in Windows Media Player as well as other audio software, and it all comes through fine. Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
