No sound in audio tracks

Hi
Several audio tracks that were routed to a group channel were making no sound. I opened the console and clicked on the name of the Group channel in the routing section and then the sound came one. This happened on several audio tracks and the work around worked. I repeated it and it happened again in a particular custom template.

The problem seemed to occur in a particular template, but the same template worked fine a week ago. I recreated the template and that fixed the problem, but I’d lilke to know why there was no sound suddenly in a template that woked fine previously in case the problem recurs.

Thanks for any insight into this.

I don’t have any clues as to why this might be. Corrupted? Best bet.

Possibly, the group isn’t assigned to the output bus? Or the tracks outputs are assigned to the group? or both?

Thanks for the reply. I can’tcheckanything now, because I deleted the template
