Installed on a new laptop, no sound output. A problem I’ve seen plenty around here and now I’m stuck and not finding an answer on the web. Default projects, audio set up properly with correct interface. everything looks green.

Reassign Instruments &
Re-apply the appropriate Playback Template
–both are part of the Play menu.
From the diagnostics data I can not see anything unusual, it should work…
But where do you expect sound to come out from? You are set up for “HD Audio output 1/2” of your internal Realtek sound device at the moment.
Weird, there’s two drivers, ASIO Low Lat and Realtek, I switched back and forth last night to no avail, but this morning going back to the ASIO it works. Thanks Ulf!
