No sound on Cubase LE 13

I’m a young student and I have no sound on LE. The young student thing is because I could be using the wrong programme and not know it and I’m quite new to this stuff. Everytime I load up, no sound but there is the bar going up and down thingy. I have NO IDEA HOW TO FIX THIS even though I can use it easily at my school.

Since you mention “LE”, I assume it came with a hardware purchase. Are you using an audio interface with a dedicated ASIO driver? If so, have you selected the proper driver for your device and set up the in/out connections in Cubase?

For future reference, it’s always a good idea to provide as many details as you can when asking a question on the forums (basic computer specs, operating system, involved external devices, etc.). It helps people who would like to help you.

On the same computer?

I am using 3 asio drivers that don’t work, FL Studio Asio, Generic low latency and Realtek asio. I am on a windows xps desktop with high specs that I can’t be bothered to name such as i7 12th gen and rtx 3070. It isn’t on the same computer and I have been through studio setup a few times changing it to everything but it doesnt work

If you don’t have a proper audio interface, you could try ASIO4ALL.

How did you get the LE license if it didn’t come with a hardware purchase?

What are you trying to get sound from? An audio track, or … ?

I just need sound in general and I haven’t purchased anything as LE is free for students as long as you can provide an email. I’ll try ASIO4ALL and get back to you

done asio4all everything is working besides the sound

Nevermind it decided to work some reason. Thank you!

 you’re welcome.
