This is the first forum post I’ve ever made, so if I do something that doesn’t follow your etiquette then I apologize. I read the posts that I could find about this issue but I have not been able to make any progress on it.
My iPad Pro 12 (os 16.5) has working sound (checked with a podcast), but I have no sound in Dorico. Nothing when touching the keyboard, nothing after inputting notes and pushing play in the transport. I can’t find a “reset sounds” button. In the play mode, under routing for Channel 1, I see the option of Microsonic, but when I click it nothing happens.
What advice could you offer to help me with this issue? I presume that an iPad Pro (2nd gen) should be able to utilize this program?

It sounds like you didn’t pick an instrument under Microsonic.
What happens when you create a new project, select Track 1 (Acoustic Piano), press the Keys icon (top left), and play the on-screen keyboard?
Do you hear sound now? If not, another audio app you ran previously may have control of your iPad’s audio I/O. If still no sound, restart iPad and repeat the steps above and see if you get sound then. I’d start there.
The iPad version also has the ability to create a Diagnostic Report that Gordon can attach here for those in the know to analyze. It’s at the bottom of the “hamburger” menu at the top right of the screen.
I just read Daniel’s latest reply and became aware of a sound problem that was fixed in the latest Dorico for iPad update. I never got bit by that issue.
@gordonlysle.bash visit the Apple App Store and make sure you have the latest version of Dorico for iPad.
Thanks for pointing that out, @Derrek . Luckily, I’ve never needed to use it.
I see that it’s not just me who’s going through this, the solution being on the right side at the moment in the right bar of the iPad has the option to reset sounds, and it’s back to normal! I hope I helped! This is another bug identified and that needs to be fixed! I’m using the beta version to be flowing more than the normal version of Dorico if I were You would enter the beta version! Big hug!
