No sound using motherboard RealTek

I’m using a Soundcraft Ui24R in my DAW. But, they have an issue when using USB audio to the DAW. So, for years I have been recording with the Ui24R but mixing using the RealTek audio on my motherboard in order to bypass an extreme high pass filter on the master. I can’t mix if I can’t hear the low end via the Ui24R USB audio.

Today, however, I am unable to mix via the RealTek. The connections in the project look fine. I set master out to RealTek outputs 1 and 2 as I have done for years. But, today there is no sound out of cubase. Windows is using the Realtek and my PC audio is working, but no sound coming out of Cubase.
If I set the project to Ui24R driver I have audio. If I set the project to RealTek, no audio on the same playback files.

I suspect the Win11 audio routing is not cooperating today. Here is a video showing the filter issue and audio from both Ui24R and RealTek

Hi,

Try to use ASIO4ALL, please.

I did that years ago, but it did not help. So, I have used the default RealTek for several years now. It is not needed as seen in the video I linked in. I’ve been switching back and forth for years without this issue.

Something else has changed. I suspect the Win11 audio routing is now broken.

This site is not working properly. Here is the video.

then add
/downloads/PinkNoiseUSBvRealtek.mp4

in your browser to view the video showing that both audio cards can work together. If the Ui24R worked correctly, no filter, I would be mixing now instead of seeking help.
