I can’t import video in any format (mpeg, avi, wmv, mov, etc) to my projects. I’ve looked in Devices > Device Setup > Video Player, and I have only two options - Onscreen Window, which is set at Fixed (no other option), and Integrated Webcam, which is set at none. Shouldn’t I be seeing Quicktime, Direct Show and Windows Media platforms in here?
A slight side note is that I’m unable to install Quicktime due to Data Execution Prevention closing Windows Installer whenever I try to install it, and this is a problem I’ve so far been unable to resolve. But that at least explains why Quicktime isn’t visible in the Device Setup screen. But what about the other platforms?
I’m on Windows Vista 32-bit, Service Pack 1, using Cubase 6.5.
