It used to work and now it doesn’t. I have rendered a video in every acceptable codec and they all refuse to import into Cubase Elements 11. I’m at my wits end. I’m updated all the software and run on a system more powerful than it needs to be. Help!
If you want help, then give some info.
What is the actual codec, framerate etc. of the video file?
Maybe post some Mediainfo output?
Mp4 H264 : 119.88fps
wmv WMV3 : 29.97fps
avi dv : 29.97fps

All of this worked the last time I used Elements to edit audio in a 2.5 hour video (mp4 H264), now it refuses to import the same, but only 57 minutes long.
None of these formats are supported.
Even if they would, a 2.5 hour video would be asking for trouble IMO.
