1/ In Cubase pro 12 put Massive X (or other) in a track and open it.
2/ At the location where this small camera should be, right click and select: Use Generic Editor - the graphic changes the camera appears, click on it to capture the plugin image (VST) it won’t have the same face, that’s normal.
3/ Right-click again to put it back as before: Use Plugin Editor .
4/ Close Cubase Pro 12 .
5/ Open internet and find the picture of Massive X and put it on your desktop .
6/ If it is a JPG format it must be converted to PNG .
7/ Open directory: *C:\Users* USER \Documents\Steinberg\VST Thumbnails
8/ Find your capture which will be different from the others and copy the name in order to rename the photo of your desktop which is in principle in PNG format.
9/ Then Copy/Paste - overwrite the version located in C:\Users\USER\Documents\Steinberg\VST Thumbnails
10/ **Open Cubase Pro 12! oh it’s magic
