I am not sure why this is. I show midi signal in midi tracks and can make the vst sound from its own keyboard. I see signal when installed as VST instrument. Just not triggering the inside the vst. Any help would be good.
Ok. So after reinstalling Cubase 10 and trying to figure this out,I recorded to a midi track with output set to Halion 6 and it is playing the VST. So why can I not trigger any VST like I use to from playing my keyboard? Which is a Yamaha MOX6. When I press a key I see the meter go up and down but no response from Halion 6. I will add the standalone version work fine.
Got it. It was midi thru was unchecked in Preferences. Sorry to bother you.
