Hi,
Maybe I’m doing something wrong here…
In N13 I select an audio file, engage the Wavelab ara extension, the extension is now showing in the Info Line and the wav is bounded in red, but when I open the Lower Zone it says “No Wavelab Instalation Found - Install Wavelab”.
Wavelab is, however, running at the time outside Nuendo.
Both Nuendo & Wavelab are running as Administrator, as per a suggestion in another thread.
Thanks for chiming in guys.
Turning of Admin didn’t help, and whether WL is open or closed, I still get the no-wavelab-installed error message.
I’ve also reinstalled everything, to no effect.
There’s gotta be a setting I’m missing?
this seems rather strange. WL as ARA in Cubase / Nuendo 13 should really work as intended.
To test it, and since I still use WaveLab 11.2, I just installed WaveLab Pro 12 (latest version 12.0.30, Trial) and tested it as ARA in Nuendo 13 (latest version 13.0.41). The ARA plug-in window opens, and I can send it to the lower zone by clicking the attachment button (“Open in lower zone”) in the plug-in window’s upper right corner, like this:
So in my setup, WL now resides within the lower zone. No error messages, whatsoever.
Which exact versions of Nuendo and WaveLab are you using?
And - while installing WL 12 - did you decide to “inherit” all former settings by an older WL version (if applicable)?
Perhaps you can close Nuendo, temporarily rename Nuendo 13’s and WaveLab 12’s presets folders (and perhaps the respective folders of any older versions, too), and then reopen the project.
