In Dorico (also Finale) the non-breaking hyphen (opt-hyphen) is a dash (below left). My solution (below right) is to make a non-breaking space and create a hyphen in text and move it into the space. That works well enough, but if there are any changes to the page I have to track down the hyphen and move it back into place. Am I missing a simple solution?
Type “wellbeing” (or well–being with the em-dash), then edit the lyric syllable and put the real hyphen in:
For better future-proofing, you could insert the non-breaking Hyphen character (U+2011), or the alternate hyphen U+2010, if your font has them.
Nepomuk and Splentino both have these glyphs.

Thanks, Ben. Much more dependable than my method.
