[NOT A BUG] Cubasis 3 wav import trouble

Hey everybody, I’m having trouble importing audio to edit.

I’m new to Cubasis and have looked for several hours but have had no luck. I’m also new to forums, so please forgive me if my etiquette is off…



So when I import, the wav file just shrinks down and the audio isn’t there. I took a couple screenshots:

Would it be possible for you to share the audio files with us (dropbox download link via pm)?

They’re from a MixPre-3 II. I’m working on a small mobile studio.

Hi Yelsroh,

Thank you for your message and for sharing the audio files.

Checking their properties, these seem to have 3 audio channels.
Since Cubasis supports stereo audio files only, this seems to cause the issue.

Thank you so much for your help. I hadn’t considered that aspect of a field recorder.

Is it possible to split a poly wav file in cubasis?
