New to Cubase 12, not able to get audio through my headphones when they’re plugged into my laptop (Dell XPS 13). Onboard speakers continue to play even when headphones are plugged in. If I listen to something on YouTube/etc the headphones work.
Help?
I don’t know if it’s the same on pc but you have to create an aggregate audio output on a mac, as you can’t go directly out to headphones.
There is another thread like this which you might find with a search. There seems to be something odd with some laptops as far as the speaker and headphone out not switching. Personally I would never use a laptops internal audio interface but I can see why some do.
If you are using the"built in" sound of the laptop, you could try ASIO4ALL to see if things behave any differently …
