Does anyone have a suggestion on how to notate the passage above (I’m using Elements)?
There should be a gradual bend from the second g-note all the way to the a-note while replaying the note being bent.
In Dorico if you want to show a restrike of a bent note then you do this with a pre-bend. (You can set pre-bends in the properties panel.) If you used pre-bends for all the G#s that would give you something like this:
Pre-bends look like a good solution. How about the pitch raising slightly with each restrike towards the final A? Microtonal accidentals (does Elements even have those?), or…?
Dorico Elements doesn’t have access to 24-EDO or other microtonal tonality systems, I’m afraid.
