Note Expression update

I just watched this video. At minute 5:xx you can hear him say that note expression sucks in Cubase, which I confirm

and I wanted to ask Steinberg to make this more easy for me.

Is there any easy way to control notes in an event?
I have Analog Lab and I want to have more dynamics in some instruments.

Please. Provide some context. I use Note expression all the time and it certainly doesn’t “suck.”
