Note shifting when deleting

Hi,

I am deleting a set of notes and suddenly, instead of just deleting the note and leaving a pause Dorico shift all the following notes where the deleted not was. Is there a specific option I accidentally triggered?

Yes, it’s called Insert Mode. You might have triggered it by pushing the letter i key
