I’m working on a new piece, based on another piece, where I deleted everything.
But in the cellopart there are some notes left. I can see them in the editor, but they don’t show up in the score or the cello part.

If you deleted the signposts for divisi, or an extra staff, but didn’t delete the notes, then the music will still be there!

As @benwiggy said: there is indeed a “hidden” divisi part. If you remake the divisi (right click on the rest in cello bar 14, Staff/Change Divisi… and click on the Add Section Divisi icon) it will be visible again and you can delete the notes as desired and then deactivate the divisi:
