Notes Off command?

I couldn’t find anything about an All Notes Off command for when notes get stuck. That happened a few times recently; not in the Transport window during playback, but during note entry from my synthesizer. What I had to do was either quit Dorico or break the MIDI connection. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi @dtoub, normally starting and stopping the playback, should reset stuck MIDI notes.
Make sure that you have this Preference activated:

Then there is this key command, which I actually don’t know what it does (probably reapplies the default playback template?):

IPad: Shortcut for Reset Sounds?

“Reset Sounds” on the iPad version is actually a shortcut for re-applying the default playback template. I think you should find that starting and stopping playback is sufficient to halt any stuck notes.

Thanks! Happy to try this the next time it happens. I had seen a reference to this when searching the forum for solutions but assumed it was only for stuck notes during playback rather than while inputting notes. Much appreciated!
