Notes repeat playing after I lift my finger

Cubase started doing this yesterday.

Say I have Retrologue open. I open a preset sound and play a note on my keyboard. Hold the key down for less than a second. The note plays then repeats a second or 2 later and repeats again a few more times getting quieter every time it repeats.

It does this if I’m play on my keyboard or if I play on the on-screen keyboard for the VST. It does this for every VST or sample track or chord track. New tracks or previously recorded tracks do the same.

I’m using Cubase version 9.0.40 Build 292 64 Bit on a Windows 10 system.

Make sure, there is no any MIDI Insert Echo or Arpache, or Insert Delay involved, please.

Thank you so much for your help! I had no idea where to look.
I opened Control Room Mixer and Stereo Delay was running.
