Hi all! Just noticed that when nudging a note left or right on the score editor, or enlarging it, the rhythmic value of said note reverts automatically to quaver. I then have to change it to the desired value. Has it happened to anyone? I checked the display quantize setting, the quantize setting on the editor, etc, but can’t figure out what it might be. And, on a side note, there are a LOT of score functions currently without the option of key commands, wich is a real pain (slur; beam/split beam; just from the top of my head)
I think this depends on the length quantize which is only available in the key editor.
It might be hidden, so you’ll need to show it. Then set it to quantize link, so you can change it from the score editor via the quantize setting.
Speaking of shortcuts, it would be awesome if you could get different shortcut sets for each editor. Most of my keys are already in use, so it’s difficult to find good ones for functions in the score editor.
For example, I would love to ctrl+down arrow for “move to staff below”, but it’s already in use.
Sometimes, there’s already different behavior in the key editor. For example, shift+down arrow moves a note down an octave even though its assigned to Navigate→Add Up.
A separate set of shortcuts for each editor would make this more transparent.
Thanks! Will try it and I’ll report back (with the holidays it may take a while:) ).
