Nuendo 12 and auto-align

Hello everyone.

I note under Nuendo 12 that the use of autoalign post 2 followed by the function of detection of the silences prevents the listening of a track. This behaves as if it were silent on the treated part. You must then save the project, close it and reload it to be able to play the track. This is not very practical. I also note that if the function which allows to recreate a file from the selected zones is used then the track becomes audible again. Are you seeing the same problem? Can we consider this as the limit of using ara 2, or is it a momentary bug of youth. One can work around this problem as I mentioned by recreating a file from the concatenated areas, but what about the metadata. This point concerns me in relation to ADRs. First question when we are going to concatenate a file, there is no question of using the function of creating a file per zone. Otherwise the ADR becomes unmanageable in addition to being false. By imagining the fact of keeping the original file which is simply cut into different containers with fadeout and faidout, reading becomes impossible unless the project is reloaded. What happens to the metadata if we use the recreate display unique function with the replace option? When cleaning up dialogue for a movie with multiple actors intervening in the same scene it becomes a bit of a headache. Last question is there a function in Nuendo allowing the analysis of dialogues in French to write them directly in the management of the ADR?

Regarding the metadata during recording, I find that the automation of certain parameters is not advanced enough, for example we could have in the metadata the number of the take with a number that automatically increments at each new recording. We can of course rely on the name of the track and the number that follows. But in reality I find it impractical and hope that a more advanced metadata mask that can get really bad over the recordings will come in the future. I looked at the functions of Nuendo live and I wonder if the management isn’t more practical for recording during a film shoot. But do we need a purchased license if we have one of 12 or does Steinberg consider that Nunedo live is an integral part of Nuendo 12… I don’t believe that. Awaiting your answers and your observations more particularly on the dialogue part rephasing then cutting of the dialogues in order to see if you have the same problem, hoping that it is temporary and that a solution is found for the Nintendo 12 and 2 users auto align post 2 fabulous software on which there is nothing to complain about and in efficiency and astounding.
