Nuendo 13 and Novation Launchkey 37 Mk3 no MIDI output

Hello Nuendo 13 and Novation Launchkey 37 Mk3 users,

We just can’t get Launchkey 37 to work. We have copied all the settings from Nuendo 10 1:1. And still it doesn’t work.

When we play the Launchkey 37, the MIDI-in display shows that a signal is coming in. But no signal is going out. The MIDI out indicator flashes once a second, just as we are used to with Nuendo 10.

We checked everything very carefully, double- and triple-checked everything as it was set in Nuendo 10, put the windows next to each other, and still no MIDI signal goes out.

Why is that?

What do you mean with no MIDI is going out?
Where should it go?

Have you ever been taking a look to the MIDI port settings of your DAW? Where should the MIDI out go? To the connected VST to trigger the functions (keys/sounds, other controls).

TBH, the out normally doesn’t go to the VSTi’s, that’s why I asked.

Do you talk about a hardware synth?
That is not a VST.
Virtual Studio Technology, hardware, is not virtual.

In case of a VST inside Nuendo, did you enable the monitor button for the particular instrument track?
