Ok, they are raving about the new Cubase 13, so when do we get ours?
I already got my Cubase 13.
I’m busy for the next two days or so…
I have both Cubase 13 and Nuendo 12 but I will wait to see if the Nuendo 13 update is really worth 190 euros or its just semi polished Nuendo 12.5.
I’m thinking about getting a C13 license. After a few years with Nuendo, my Post work still has me living in the Pro Tools ecosystem, but for music production, there’s some good stuff there. It depends on how long they’ll make us wait for Nuendo 13.

Usually a couple months after Cubase.
Hopefully quickly.
For our daily work we need 24/7 exactly the functions that Nuendo offers beyond Cubase Pro.
But there are now things in Cubase that I’m really looking forward to have in Nuendo.
Thanks a lot guys…I have sort of always had both, but when Nuendo started separating the boys from the men, I stayed put with Nuendo. I am praying that they do the same thing they did with 12, which has a ton more than Cubase 12…we wait and see…but I must say from what I have seen so far with Cubase, Steinberg has done it again!
Looking forward to support similar to DAWproject or XML, as AAF/OMF is already too old
I think it was about a month last time around…but since the Cubase release was already delayed, we need to bribe @TimoWildenhain with some whiskey to give us a date!
I say “let them fix the bugs” in Cubase first before rolling it into Nuendo 13!
Yup! 13 looks tempting, but I don’t have time to be a beta tester. Will check the forums and hang 'till. the .1 release, perhaps…
Timo is has joined the AA some time ago.
Please try me.

So, does anyone else see that Cubase (both version 12 and 13) are much less efficient that Nuendo 10/11? Projects that play with perhaps 75% system usage will not play in Cubase, pegging the usage meter there.
Can you post screenshots of this happening? Thanks.
Surely, I’ll get to this Monday.

Indeed. The loss of auto increment new midi channels, will stop me. So I hope the first version Nuendo has that one fixed.
Such a shame they havent improved Expression Maps, and folders/bussing within track presets (especially being a remote VePro user)
…but the other things look good, and they’re addressing some core structural issues and features.
I don’t want you ending up in AA as well. Who will leak the Nuendo betas then?
You don’t have to give him a whole distillery. Just a bottle or two of a fine spirit to loosen the tongue.
Welcome to the community!
