I’ve just decided to give a Try to Nuendo 14 since it offers many new and interesting features.
I’m a long time Cubase and Dorico user.
I have decided to check how the “Dialogue Transcription” tool works, with transcribing Bulgarian dialogue.
Unfortunately Nuendo crashed on calculating process…
Here are the dump files (UPDATED 22.04 - the link is valid for 3 days):
Well, the transcription is completely incorrect hahaha
I’ll try to follow the suggestions of yours, to check, if the other methods will bring something
meaningful.
Also have to add
Slavic? Is that not an ambiguous term? I mean it could be Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, Czech, Slovak, and others? Aren’t these all classed as Slavic? Forgive my ignorance, I am not really educated in that area.
Aha! I just saw again in your first post, it is Bulgarian. Sorry. Bulgarian is on the list of supported languages.
I have already tried everything. Even to completely clean up the project of any plugins.
It always crashes, no matter which mode I’m trying to use… I don’t know why?!
Probably I’m doing something the wrong way?!
I hope the team will take a look at the crashes and the project! The plugins have nothing to do with the crash.
The group of Slavic languages contains:
Bulgarian - as the oldest of this group (developed with grammar and alphabet. First Glagolitic - developed at Polychron Monastery, by St. Cyril and spread with his brother Methodius, and their students and a bit later - the Cyrillic, developed in Preslav’s and Ochrid’s Bulgarian Schools, by Chernorizets Hrabar, Naum of Preslav (in the capital of Preslav) and Climent of Ochrid (Ochrid’s School) ).
Macedonian (as dialect of the Bulgarian, heavily influenced by the Serbian)
Serbian
Croatian
Slovenian
Czech
Slovak
Polish
Ukrainian
Belarusian
Russian
Montenegrin
Bosnian and Hercegovian
I don’t know it always crashes here?! I’ll try to re-install the AI Models…
Hi @Phil_Pendlebury,
Still having the same problem. I have reinstalled both Nuendo and the Dialogue AI Transcription Models, but it doesn’t help, too.
I hope the team will take a look at the project and the dump files, in order to fix it.
Surely it’s not a plugin related. The crash appears even when there is zero plugins inserted.
Sorry for the delayed reply! I was gigging abroad with a band.
At least I have tried many times by sending the dump through the After Crash Dialog of Nuendo. I hope they will take a look, if they have it. I don’t know if someone of the team was able to download it from here?!
