Nuendo 14 - Mediabay - Losing focus when typing on the search bar (Windows)

I’m experiencing an issue (Windows 10) when trying to search in Mediabay. As soon as a I start typing, I lose focus of the search bar, and I need to click on it again.
The result of this is that, for example, to type in the word “Metal”, I would :
1- type the “m”, I’d loose focus,
2- click the search bar again
3- type “e”, loose focus
4- rinse and repeat.
Is this happening to anyone else?

On a similar note: I do have the impression that since installing Nuendo 14, the focus on the the different windows is not working the way I was used to. Pressing F5 would bring the Mediabay to the front of any other window opened (like Chrome, for example). Now, it is not the case anymore
Thank you

I’ve noticed in Nuendo 14 (Windows 10), with the differing windows management than 12 had (I never used 13), I have to have the main Edit window visible and in focus in order for some of the other window shortcut keys to work, such as F8 for video, F3 for Mixer, etc. If the Edit screen is minimized or not focused, they don’t seem to work.

Thank you, @Rodney_Gates . Unfortunately, I’m still experiencing the problem even when I have the main edit view on focus. When I have some time will investigate a bit more and will update here.
One thing I forgot to clarify in my original post, is that the windows that not show up in focus are in a second monitor.

That does seem odd. It almost sounds as if another program is stealing the focus away from Nuendo in general, as you’re trying to work. Do you have any background programs running by chance that might causing something like this?

I seem to have the opposite problem in 14 when I run Soundminer - in Nuendo 12, if I clicked away from Soundminer and back on the Edit (or any other) window, it would lose focus and fall to the background, behind the Mixer screen on my second monitor. Now, in 14, it stays in front until I manually minimize it, almost as if it has a ‘Stay on top’ feature enabled, which it doesn’t. I just work around that now.
