Yes PLE could do that in theory (If Media Type = Marker and Name = xx then Select, followed by Locate Selection) but would only be as good as the transcription resolution. If each marker contains a whole sentence then it won’t work on a word-by-word basis. With Spectralayers sync is quite good when you zoom in since the transcript auto-adjusts to remain in sync with what you hear and displays conveniently separated single words. No synchronised search by word though AFAIK.
