Nuendo 15 Export Time

Hi,

When exporting one hour of audio from an empty project
containing a single stereo track (44.1 kHz / 16-bit),
the process takes approximately 17 seconds in Nuendo 14 and Cubase 15,
but around 6 minutes in Nuendo 15 (was in 15.0.30, is in 15.0.40).

Am I doing something wrong, or is there something I am missing?

System specifications:

Stock Lenovo P360
Processor: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-12700K (3.60 GHz)
Installed RAM: 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)

Are you using the same buffer size?

Yes.

Same PC, same RME ASIO driver, as far as I can tell same settings in all programs and versions.

I was asking because buffer size does change export time (the lower buffer the longer export), so you could just be missing it, but no… Can’t help you more, I’m still in N14, and up until this version I never noticed any difference in export times.

Hmm. I just tried exporting 1 hour of nothingness in Nuendo 13, 14 and 15 and Cubase 15 and all of them took pretty much the same time, ~35 seconds (and my machine is rendering 3D animation in the background)
