Hi all,
I’m experiencing what seems like a bug in Nuendo 15 when working on larger post-production sessions.

EDIT: It only happens when the video track visibility is enabled so perhaps it has to do with thumbnails. I did try to manually generate thumbnail cache file from the Pool with no luck. The good news is that when the video track is hidden I have no issues.

When navigating around the session (scrolling, zooming, selecting events, etc.), the interface consistently hangs every ~7 seconds. The freeze lasts for about 4 seconds each time, making the software very difficult to use.
Important details:

This does not happen in Nuendo 14 with the same session

The issue appears only in larger sessions (post work with video)
What I’ve tried so far:

Turning Hi-DPI on and off

Enabling/disabling “Interpolate Waveforms”

Using a lower-resolution video file

Using Quick zoom
System info:

OS: Windows 11

GPU: AMD RX 6600

Video codec: ProRes
None of the above has made any difference.
Removing the video from the session makes the issue dissapear
Has anyone else experienced similar behavior in Nuendo 15?
Could this be related to video engine changes or GPU acceleration?
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
